Inclement Weather Guidelines

On "bad weather" days, 6-12th grade students may report directly to Quest House, located next door to the sanctuary property for 2nd hour class. Please arrive no earlier than 11:30am if you have not attended 10AM worship. There must be an adult present if you are dropping of students at Quest House. Parents & guardians, please escort students into the building to assure leaders have arrived. For the safety of the children & youth, do not drop your student off unless the adult leaders are there. Proceed to the sanctuary building.

Inclement Weather days are communicated by the bright yellow road-side signs posted to request that families to take the 6-12th graders directly to the car pool circle at Quest House. Inclement weather is defined as weather conditions where heavy rain, lightning or ice would make the walk to Quest House a safety concern.

Look for the bright yellow signs at the driveway to Quest House and to the Sanctuary building on bad weather days to advise you if you will need to use the car pool drop-off circle at Quest House. Announcements will also be made in the Worship Service.

When you see the Quest House Car-pool Signs advising you to proceed there; please do not drop off children at Quest House any earlier than 11:30AM
(2nd Hour Religious Education class time). This assures that our volunteer teachers are ready to receive the kids at the side door of Quest House (to the left as you look at the building). For safety sake, DO NOT drop off Jr. or Sr. Youth students without assuring that there are 2 adults present to receive them at Quest House. Students will not be allowed at Quest House without authorized supervisory adults!
