The Our Whole Lives Sexuality Education Program (O.W.L) is a comprehensive approach to human sexuality taught in an age-appropriate manner based firmly on the values of respect, responsibility, justice and inclusivity.
The course is designed to help young people apply these values to their behavior and provide them with information and skills they can use throughout life. Youth programs include a comprehensive parent orientation. Programs are available for Kindergarten- 1st graders; 4-6 graders, 7-9th graders, 10-12 graders. Curricula is also available for adults. Emerson UU Congregation has ten trained, certified male and female Our Whole Lives adult facilitators who lead Our Whole Lives classes.

Summer OWL Class (June 2017).
Parent and Student Orientation: Sunday, June 11, 2017 11:15am-2:00pm,
Class will meet four times: June 12, 14, 19, 21 from 6:00-8:00pm
This class is for youth who will enter 4th and 5th grade in the 2017-2018 school year. If interested, email Angela.
Class taught 2016-2017. Next session will likely be in the 2018-2019program year.

Emerson members will receive first priority for registration. If there are additional spaces available then these will be opened up to non-Emerson students on a first-come-first-serve basis.
For the K-1st and 4th-6th grade classes, the target class size is approximately 10 students. For the 7th-9th grade and 10th-12th grade classes, the target class size is approximately 13 students.
