The Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans
Emerson hosts a Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans (CUUPS) group to gather with the intention to explore, celebrate, and participate in deeply intuitive earth-centered ritual; create a home for earth centered spiritual seekers; and share our experiences and cherish our interconnectedness within the framework of Unitarian Universalism.
Join us monthly for our Merry Meet (NEED DETAILS) or for one of our Wheel of the Year Rituals (LINK TO PGAN worship page)
To further our goals, we covenant to the following ideals:
That each of us is responsible to ourselves, to each other, and to the interdependent web of all existence:
That we shall hold the space around us sacred, with love and trust, so that we shall feel comfortable and free to pursue our spiritual growth;
That we shall remain true to the guiding principles of Unitarian Universalism, especially regarding our own free and responsible search for truth and meaning;
That we shall seek to communicate with honesty, clarity, compassion, and understanding;
That, while we may focus on the spiritual teachings and intentions of earth-centered traditions, we shall respect all traditions with which we come in contact;
That we shall strive, through our combined experiences and knowledge, to provide educational and celebratory opportunities, not only for each other, but for the larger community as well; and
That we shall remember that, by inquiring into the past and seeking to comprehend the present, we intend to develop our futures.
As covenanted members of Emerson CUUPS, we are anchored in the UU Principles, which frees us to explore the earth-mysteries to which we are deeply drawn. We approach this work and this community with Curiosity, Courage, and Compassion in everything that we do.
