Faith Explorations at Emerson

We believe that the free and responsible search for truth and meaning as an integral part of leading a whole and healthy life .  At Emerson we support life-long spiritual growth by providing stimulating and enriching programs for all ages: children, youth, and adults at the many stages of their lives.

Faith explorations at Emerson are so important to us that we set aside an extra hour each Sunday beginning at 11:15 AM- after worship and fellowship time - so that people of all ages have an opportunity to engage in a variety of classes.  We also provide offerings during the week including our very popular Tuesday Night On-line Adult Enrichment series.

All of our faith exploration programs provide opportunities to explore, learn, and reflect in a nurturing spiritual community.  We build Unitarian Universalist identity as we seek to inspire:

  • Ethical growth – internalizing enduring values like justice, equity, and compassion, and gaining tools to act on them in everyday life.
  • Social growth – connecting with peers and people of diverse viewpoints and ages on a deeper level, finding acceptance among others who see beyond the superficial.
  • Spiritual growth – defining and forging a connection to the sacred within, among, and beyond us.

Whether you are a member, friend, or first-time guest; whether you are a toddler or in your later years; whether you are. lifelong UU or have only recently heard about this faith, we welcome you to join us on a journey of mutual discovery!
