'OWL' - Our Whole Lives Sexuality Program

OWL is a comprehensive series of human sexuality education curricula taught in an age-appropriate manner that is based firmly on the UU values of respect, responsibility, justice and inclusivity.

The course is designed to help young people apply these values to their behavior and provide them with information and skills they can use throughout life. Youth programs include mandatory comprehensive parent orientation meetings. Programs are available for Kindergarten- 1st graders; 4-6 graders, 7-9th graders, 10-12 graders. Curricula is also available for adults. Emerson UU Congregation has eight adult volunteers who are trained and certified as Our Whole Lives facilitators to lead Our Whole Lives classes for Children and Youth.

Class size is limited. Emerson UUC members will receive first priority for registration. If there are additional spaces available then these will be opened up to non-Emerson students on a first-come-first-serve basis.
